Bonsai bark, details of dead wood part 1

Because the temperatures are still freezing, almost -20C per night, -10C during the day and it is impossible to work with trees, I took few detail shots of bark and dead wood of my trees. I will continue with macro photos of bark of the other species very soon.

Jelikož venku stále mrzne, teploty v noci dosahují téměr -20C, denní teploty jsou kolem -10C a je tedy nemožné pracovat se stromy, rozhodl jsem se vyfotit pár detailních záběrů kůry a mrtvého dřeva mých stromů. Brzy budou následovat makro záběry dalších druhů stromů.

  1. Nice close-ups, Martin! The new lense seems to be quite a thing. If I hadn´t read the text, I would have said that on the first picture it´s not a potentilla but a juniper. And the young euonymus´s barks resembles some kind of see animal, perhaps an octopus, to me :-D.
